What you can expect from me:
About My Practice
In the human experience it is incredibly important to feel both seen and heard. In my work, I don’t take that for granted and make a point of providing both while reflectively integrating new perspectives and ideas. In every session I emit my natural warmth and kindness to create a safe and caring environment for clients.
Education and Experience
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2021. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Towson University in 2017. I have been trained in Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety Related Disorders, Brainspotting, Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Fun Fact
As you can see, my dog Doodle Bop is a Goldendoodle who will often join in on sessions. I adopted him a as a rescue and, unfortunately, due to his previous experiences he too is battling anxiety and trauma induced phobias. So of course, he too has participated in Exposure and Response Prevention with great success. He can attest to its value in that he now loves many things he once feared.
