My approach

Anxiety, phobias, and OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) can be debilitating, preventing you from the living the life you wish to lead. The core of all of my work with clients is establishing a strong relationship full of unconditional positive regard. In my practice I provide supportive tools to lower anxiety levels such as breathing and grounding exercises. Together we will assess areas of need and support whether that be improving routines, sleep, diet, exercise, or social support. Often anxiety is impacted by other mental health concerns such as depression, low self-esteem, and/or trauma which through utilization of coping skills we can process and improve together.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Mindfulness Practice, Motivational Interviewing, and Brainspotting. Each play a role within my practice which I tailor to best meet your needs and goals. With that said, the greatest indicator of client success is not the modality used, but the rapport shared.
